Inside the Palm Beach Café That Bakes Fresh Cookies at 2am
Because warm cookies taste better under moonlight.
When most of Palm Beach is fast asleep, the ovens at Moonlight Crumbs are just getting started.
Tucked into a cozy corner on Clematis Street, this late-night cookie cafĂ© opens its doors at 8pm and doesn’t stop baking until 2 in the morning. The smell alone stops foot traffic.
âSome people grab a box after the club. Some come in pajamas. Weâve even had a proposal happen right at the counter,â says owner Jason Lee. âThereâs just something magic about warm cookies at night.â
Not Your Average Cookie
Sure, youâll find chocolate chip on the menuâbut itâs stuffed with Nutella and sea salt. Thereâs also:
- đ„ Peanut Butter Pretzel Fudge
- đ« Blueberry Cheesecake Swirls
- đ¶ïž Mexican Hot Chocolate with a cinnamon-cayenne kick
Cookies are baked in small batches throughout the night, so theyâre always warm and meltyâwhether you walk in at 8pm or 2am.
What Makes It Work?
Moonlight Crumbs has built a loyal following with its âwarm boxâ philosophyâevery customer gets their cookies hot, boxed, and ready to melt hearts. The cafĂ© doesnât offer WiFi or wall outletsâjust cookies, conversation, and a few cozy seats under Edison bulbs.
